Kia Ora
Would appreciate any help regarding some dodgy looking processes running on my PC. I am constantly checking and removing spyware but particular ones keep coming back. For instance WinAntiVirus, Stopguard, WinPopupGurad, when I reply to hotmail messages, to name a few. Things have all gone a bit crazy since that Windows service pack upgrade. Any thoughts on my Hijack this log would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Re: HiJacked down under

Hello,
Close all browser windows, restart Hijack This and put a checkmark next to the following entries:

R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - _{12F02779-6D88-4958-8AD3-83C12D86ADC7} - (no file)
O2 - BHO: CATLEvents Object - {3EC8E271-FAB9-418a-8A8E-65AEB4029E64} - C:\DOCUME~1\RICHAR~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\mocvrs.dat
O2 - BHO: CATLEvents Object - {BF755B85-EA69-4F58-9A59-D85F384A15FF} - C:\DOCUME~1\RICHAR~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\cpw.dat
O2 - BHO: CATLEvents Object - {F32F8ECD-6CF3-459D-82F2-9738392C85A8} - C:\DOCUME~1\RICHAR~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\mocvrs.dat
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [*wpc] C:\WINDOWS\Registration\wpc.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\RunOnce: [*wpc] C:\WINDOWS\Registration\wpc.exe rerun
O4 - HKCU\..\RunOnce: [*MS Setup] C:\WINDOWS\euladrv.exe ren

Then boot into Safe Mode and ensure that you are showing Hidden Files and Folders.

Go to C:\DOCUME~1\RICHAR~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\ and once in the folder click Edit> Select All and then hit the delete key to delete the entire contents of the folder. Leave the folder itself intact though.

Delete the following files and folders:

C:\WINDOWS\Registration\wpc.exe
C:\WINDOWS\euladrv.exe

Then reboot and post a fresh log

Re: HiJacked down under

Close all browser windows, restart Hijack This and put a checkmark next to the following entries:

O2 - BHO: CATLEvents Object - {44E5B409-35A2-4E8D-BF94-344222323A53} - C:\DOCUME~1\RICHAR~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\golksid.dat
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [*disklog] C:\WINDOWS\Registration\disklog.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\RunOnce: [*disklog] C:\WINDOWS\Registration\disklog.exe rerun

Click Fix Checked

Then boot into Safe Mode and ensure that you are showing Hidden Files and Folders.

Go to C:\DOCUME~1\RICHAR~1\LOCALS~1\Temp, and once in the folder click Edit> Select All. Then hit the delete key to get rid of the entire contents of the folder. Leave the folder itself intact.

Delete the following file:
C:\WINDOWS\Registration\disklog.exe

Reboot and post a fresh log
