Re: ads234 is driving me batty!

After removing NewNet you may find you are unable to access the internet so I would suggest you get LSPfix and have it handy just in case you need it, just my 2¢

Re: ads234 is driving me batty!

The New.net entries are never fixed in Hijack This to avoid broken internet access, thats why it should be uninstalled via Add/Remove programs which shouldn't cause any problems.

Thumbs up Re: ads234 is driving me batty!

Owen,

So far so good. Thank you. Some of the entries that I deleted with Hijack This kept coming back such as:TVM.exe, tsbml2.exe,TLAZFTXDHJ.EXE and Global Startup:TFTP2336. Should I worry about these files or just assume that they are part of the system? Here is the current log:

Re: ads234 is driving me batty!

Owen,

I think that my system is good to go. I downloaded everything that was recommended: Windows Updates, Antivirus Software, Firewall, Spyware Blaster and Spyware Guard. I don't want to go through this again. Thank you very much!

Re: ads234 is driving me batty!

Thanks Bear-

Just a bit more work to do yet ninja5.

Close all browser windows, restart Hijack This and put a checkmark next to the following entries:

R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - {20EC3D2D-33C1-4C9D-BC37-C2D500688DA2} - C:\Program Files\TV Media\TvmBho.dll
O2 - BHO: zSearch Bar - {5886A6DC-AAF4-45E9-979A-8E5E6DEE30E7} - C:\Program Files\zSearch\zSearch.dll
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Drawbeep] C:\PROGRA~1\BENDVG~1\Option Comp.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [qp4P36Q] tsbml2.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [MSConfig] TLAZFTXDHJ.EXE
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [zSearch] C:\Program Files\zSearch\Zstb.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TV Media] C:\Program Files\TV Media\Tvm.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [zSearch] C:\Program Files\zSearch\Zstb.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [TV Media] C:\Program Files\TV Media\Tvm.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\RunOnce: [MSConfig] TLAZFTXDHJ.EXE

Click Fix Checked

Then boot into Safe Mode and ensure that you are showing Hidden Files and Folders.

Delete the following files and folders:
C:\Program Files\zSearch
C:\Program Files\TV Media
C:\Program Files\BENDVG............begins with these letters
C:\WINDOWS\System32\TLAZFTXDHJ.EXE

Reboot and post a fresh log
