Hijack log file, trying to get rid of 'Derbiz' help needed.

Trying to get rid of Derbiz and I also have problems running spybot, always says theres an error. and it cant access Win ini. I would be very grateful for any help.

First

move HijackThis to a folder on C:\Drive like so C:\HJT

Press control-alt-delete to get into the task manager and end the follow processes if they exist:
xafxdkuy.exe
lpugbzba.exe
yialk.exe
eliteggb32.exe
izukm.exe
istsvc.exe

If you get an error when deleting a file. Right click on the file and check to see if the read only attribute is checked. if it is uncheck it and try again.

Uninstall the following via the Add/Remove Panel (Start->(Settings)->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs) if they exist:
ISTsvc

Check the following items in HijackThis.
Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

Delete the following files\folders IF still present:

Still in Safe Mode do a file Search for this file here if found delete it
istsvc.exe

Then do a reboot till us how it is & show us new logfile

Be sure and put a check in the box by "Auto Clean" before you do the scan. If it finds anything that it cannot clean have it delete it or make a note of the file location so you can delete it yourself.

Hi
I'v done everything that you asked, I could not find any of the files or folders they did not exist. After re-booting in safe mode none of the files or folders could be found. I'v ran the virus scanners and they only picked up 7 infected files which were ad-ware and a trojen downloader.

Download this tool: LQfix.zip
Unzip it to your Desktop.
Don't use it yet!

[b]IMPORTANT! Reboot the computer into Safe Mode (tap F8 during bootup, use arrow keys to select Safe Mode, then hit 'enter').

Doubleclick LQfix.bat that you saved on your desktop before.
A doswindow will open and close again, that is normal.

Reboot into normal mode and scan with HijackThis. Post the new log as a reply to this thread.

Wow you did some nice work on this now i have some software
for you to download install update them all. but do it after we
get this out of the way

click start->settings->control panel->internet options->programs tab->RESET WEB SETTINGS

That will change everything back to defaults (M$)......

Change your homepage and search engines to whatever you wish and reset your pc.

When it boots back up, open IE and see if the page stays the way that you set it.


Make your Internet Explorer more secure - This can be done by following these simple instructions:

1. From within Internet Explorer click on the Tools menu and then click on Options.
2. Click once on the Security tab
3. Click once on the Internet icon so it becomes highlighted.
4. Click once on the Custom Level button.

2. Change the Download unsigned ActiveX controls to Disable
3. Change the Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe to Disable
