hijackthis log

I haven't done the system restore from your last post yet. I had already turned off norton and restarted it. I tried to do a search (which is something it would freeze on) it froze, so I have to do a hard boot. Having said all that do you still want me to do the system restore?

oh and when it reboots it says for the AVG that there is a kernel problem and thats why it can't start. would that cause the computer to freeze?

Yes please do as i said in my last post & yes
i think what is going on here is that some of
AVG is still trying to do it's job & that the

other scanner is saying no way i'm the boss here
so try what i posted lit's see what happens

well bummer. I did all that and it just stalled. While I was on his computer I noticed in his tray that there is an internet connection icon that has an x through it. He is able to go online though. Think that could mess things up?




sorry about the confusion. I told jephree that I understood if they wanted me to work things out with you first. So now we'll work with you till you and I throw our hands up in the air and say.. who the heck knows lol.

um so far we can't unless its like hijackthis or something quick. Like with the search, that stalls and the mouse won't move. Or it will stall halfway through. so yeah I guess it is a problem to run anything. I had just finished with the rebooting and then the whole thing froze. And while I was doing a few things with jephree it stalled while I was searching for the .dmp logs. Is there a way to run anything without using the mouse? ( that might sound a bit stupid lol )



my husband said that its stalled now and he tried to put in a game disc to see if it did anything but it didn't do anything.

Do this for me please goto Start > Run > & type msconfig
then goto the Startup Tab & till me what is checked in there

or what items are listed in Startup Tab

the one that is checked is ccApp "c:/program files/com... HKLM/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVer..

the puter stalled again so we couldn't get the rest after the "..."

Hmmm this is sounding like a bigger problem then just
a software problem i will sleep on this & get back to you
in the morning need to get some sleep but i will look for
you & hab first thing or when you show up
