video error

Hi
I got a video Error
The video decoder is either corrupt or not installed
computer was recently hacked i think, dont know if this was the problem
have computer hooked up to cable tv and could record tv shows and watch them... now it doesnt work

Well as far as the logfile all looks good you do have some items
that if you like can be stoped from running at startup but
that's a users option but not anything i would call bad.

so i would have a look at the link that jephree posted
see if the info there is any help at all other then that
i would say an Uninstall reinstall may help i say may help

but please keep us updated on this here the info
that you find worked for you may help someone
with the same problem

ran codec thing and it found
found a broken codec, is this something that i can fix

also through some of the past fixes the C:\Windows folder has filled up with bright blue lettered folders $NtUninstall... what does this mean?

Well as far as i know these folders you talked are
for when you do a windows update like a roll back

but to make sure i did a Search & found this for you
