Re: HiJack This log file TIA

Did you first run SpyBot and Ad-Aware applications?

End the following running process (Ctrl+Alt+Delete KEYS):

C:\Program Files\TopSearch\TopSearch.exe

Run the HijackThis application:
  • Click on 'Open the misc Tools section'.
  • Click on 'Open Uninstall Manager'.
  • Click on 'Save list...' and post a copy here.

Remove what you can following this link (identifying items found and removed):
http://www.doxdesk.com/parasite/BrowserAid.html
Quote:
Open the Control Panel’s ‘Add/Remove Programs’ function. There should be an entry for ‘BrowserAid’ or ‘CashToolbar’ (CashToolbar variant), ‘Web Toolbar’ (ABCSearch variant) or ‘BrowserPal’ (BrowserPal variant).

However, the BrowserPal variant leaves an updater task behind which can reinstall itself and other programs - see Manual Removal, BrowserPal installer.

There may not be a removal option for the LetsSearch, QuickLaunch, Rundll16, FeaturedResults, StlbDist/StlbAd/StlbClick/Stlb2, LB, CHP and InetP variants.
Also Add/Remove 'TopSearch', if found.

REBOOT.
Post a new HJT log.
