Unhappy lost color

I am running Windows 98 SE and yesterday I installed a new ISP. I suddenly have no color anywhere and I cannot adjust the color from the Control Panel. Any help will be appreciated. Also, we tried to put the hard drive into another computer. It did not work so we replaced it in the original computer. Could something have gone wrong (yeah, I know!) and how can I fix it? Thanks in advance for any help you can render. I am at my wits' end!

Was this before or after you had the colour problem?
