Hi everybody and welcome to D-A-L,

Before posting your Hijackthis log, please help us to help you in a more efficient and quick manner by downloading, installing, updateing and running a scan:
(If you don't already have it) (If you have older versions, just uninstall thru add/remove program)

Just use all default options when useing SpyBot S&D

If you are looking for a good paid for anti-spyware program which runs in the background protecting your computer(And you should), here are three excellent ones for you to consider:

MBAM

SuperAnti-Spyware

CounterSpy

Either one of the three paid for anti-spyware programs above work very well with SpyBot S&D 1.5, coupled with a good anti-virus program(Paid for or free) will go a long way in helping to keep your computer malware free, but programs are not fool proof as new malware is being written on a daily basis. It is dangerous out there on the internet these days.

If you have a paid anti-virus subscription and subscription has not run out make sure to check for updates and run the scan with feed back on what was found that could not be deleted, post the file name(full file path) into your post above your hijackthis log.

If your paid anti-virus subscription has run out consider re-newing the subscription or uninstall it and get a free anti-virus program.

Three really good and free anti-virus programs are:
(You only need one anti-virus program as two or more will cause significant problems on your computer)

Avira

Avast 4.8.1201

PC Tools

Download, install, update and run the scan. Report back any files that could not be deleted when you post your first hijackthis log.

If you do have a free anti-virus program, check for updates and run the scan and report back any un-deleteable files back to us when you post your first Hijackthis log.

When all of the above has been done:

Download the new version of hijackthis here: Install Hijackthis to the correct folder: C:\Program Files\HijackThis

HIJACKTHIS

Click scan and save a log file and notepad will open up with HJT inside.

Copy/Paste into your reply.

Also to help speed things up for you and the Moderator working on your computer please follow the instructions below:

Open Hijackthis.

Click the "Open the Misc Tools" section Button.

Click the "Open Uninstall Manager" Button.

Click the "Save list" Button.

Save it to your desktop. Copy and paste the contents into your reply.

When you post your hijackthis log for the first time, please tell us what is going on. Popups, slow computer, warnings from your anti-malware programs, being re-directed to web pages you don't want to go to, etc. etc.

Also, each time you post as we are attempting to "FIX" your computer, please tell us how things are now(What progress is being made). This keeps us from having to ask each time.
