Unable to run systems recovery disc

Hello very grateful for any help please.

My PC came down with a virus on Sunday, it kept freezing and wouldn't allow me to run the anti virus software I have. I tried system
restore but this didn't work so as a last resort I tried to run the systems recovery disc. It came up with an error message saying cannot
open Ghosterr.txt, cannot read file and now I cannot get back into Windows at all!

Any ideas on how to fix this?
