Found this file in my "Madden07 spawn folder"(RESOLVED)

there is a huge smiley face and with this extension...msgr8us.exe


I just find it very odd to have this file in my spawn folder of Madden.

I have no idea why it is there but it has to do with yahoo messenger.

Now, with my anit-virus programs what I did was not renew my Norton's and went and purchased "Avast" I was told that this was way better then Norton's anti-virus and it was a once pay $34 and unlimited updates. So, I am confussed on which anit-virus to have running.

I have 2 little balls in my task-bar as "Avast and other Virus Recover Database Generator. I closed "Easy anti-virus" Does it still show too many?

Open Hijackthis.

Click the "Open the Misc Tools" section Button.

Click the "Open Uninstall Manager" Button.

Click the "Save list..." Button.

Save it to your desktop. Copy and paste the contents into your reply.

Then we will remove that.

Did you install Search Enhancer? You can remove that also if you didn't install or don't want it any more.
Also Special Internet Offers probably needs to go also if you like.


Remove from add/remove programs:

Avira AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic
EasyAntiVirus
Smart Shopper

Follow any prompts if any as your uninstalling these and reboot afterwards and post another hijackthis log and tell me how your computer is behaving.

I have removed all you selected and how just have Avast. Search Enhancer is the only thing I need to remove, but where is it so I can?
