The Grisoft site may cause some confusion because of the '30 day trial' since they will continue to remind you of any remaining days. Many such trials may have reduced functionality after that time period. Nevertheless, I believe you will still find that the core functionaliity still remains operational for your use. It may then become less convenient (such as loosing a feature(s) like automatic updates and other desirable features available during the trail).
They are not in the business of providing free tools. They will attempt to find ways to make you want to continue using and thus buy their full meal deal package or they won't remain in business for long.
