Trend Micro Notifications

I get no answer to my e-mails to Trend Micro, so I will try here.

I keep getting these two Real Time Notifications even though I have "all" notifications turned off. They pop up every 5 to 10 seconds. It is very frustrating to have to keep clearing them out.

The software is doing what it is supposed to do, it is not letting the viruses onto my computer, but I don't need it to tell me it is doing it's job every 5 to 10 seconds. They come up over whatever is on the screen, so you have to close them to view the screen.

I don't know if it is coincidence or not, but it only seems to happen when I use my DSL connection. If I connect on dial-up when the DSL isn't working, I don't see these pop ups.

Is there any way to stop these pop up notifications?

Here are screen captures of both of them.

Re: Trend Micro Notifications

Really, in all honesty, you don't want to stop these popup notifications because you shouldn't be getting them this often. It constantly notifies you because you have some sort of infection that needs dealing with. Antivirus programs are set to notify you because hopefully they shouldn't have to notify you often.

Re: Trend Micro Notifications

Spybot scan shows my computer to be clean.

Ad-Aware scan shows my computer to be clean.

A complete system scan with Trend-Micro shows my computer to be clean.

The notifications say they have detected a virus, spyware, or other security risk and performed the action specified.

Action taken: Denied access.

This means the virus or whatever was denied access to my computer.

Which is what it is supposed to do.

I just don't understand why the notifications keep coming up when I have them disabled?
