DL.exe on desktop, no threats found.

I'm running Win XP HE SP2. I got this from that bull**** site themesXP.com. DO NOT USE ANY OF THEIR APPLICATIONS. They want to install 3rd party crap on your pc. After I did it though, DL.exe has been placed on my desktop, and I can't delete it. I've run a full system scan with AVG and it found/fixed 260 threats. After it finished it asked me to do a system restart and I did. From there I couldn't log on to my pc besides in safe mode. I chalk this up to probably a botched boot.ini file also thanks to that new theme (it will change your boot screen).

Did you set restrictions on your PC as indicated by these in hijackthis:

O6 - HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Restrictions present
O6 - HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel present

* Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from HERE or HERE

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

* Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and zLaunch Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
* The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
* The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
* Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply along with a fresh HijackThis log.

Extra Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove,you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts,click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process,if asked to restart the computer,please do so immediatly.

Also...

Open Hijackthis.

Click the "Open the Misc Tools" section Button.

Click the "Open Uninstall Manager" Button.

Click the "Save list..." Button.

Save it to your desktop. Copy and paste the contents into your reply.

And...

Please download and install the latest version of HijackThis v2.0.2:Delete the old version you have

1. Save HJTInstall.exe to your desktop.
2. Double-click on HJTInstall.exe to run the program.
3. By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis.
4. Accept the license agreement by clicking the "I Accept" button.
5. Click on the "Do a system scan and save a log file" button. It will scan and then ask you to save the log.
6. Click "Save log" to save the log file and then the log will open in Notepad.
7. Click on "Edit -> Select All" then click on "Edit -> Copy" to copy the entire contents of the log.
8. Come back here to this thread and paste the log in your next reply.
9. Do NOT have HijackThis fix anything yet! Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.
