I think I may have some viruses please look

Okay, I went into the host file to block some sites from my kids and when I open it there is 100's of sites in there that I didn't put in there. Telling me something about spybot and destory ...anyways, when I go to delete them it will not let me. I then try to run Dr. Webb and the program will not run so, I think there is something that maybe corrupt. Here is my HiJacklog;

When you run SpyBot immunize function it adds 'host file' items (last item in list) - so most of those items will be OK.

Some similar applications such as Teatimer may interfere with that program.

Please disable the ‘active protection’ components of the following application(s), as it/they may hinder the removal of some entries. Otherwise, certain cleaning attempts may be wrongly recognized and blocked as hijacking attempts or other potentially inappropriate behavior. You can re-enable such tools after your computer is clean.

Disable Spybot S&D (Teatimer)

Run Spybot-S&D in Advanced Mode.
If it is not already set to do this Go to the Mode menu select "Advanced Mode"
On the left hand side, Click on Tools
Then click on the Resident Icon in the List
Uncheck "Resident TeaTimer" and OK any prompts.
Restart your computer.

When disabled, please download ResetTeaTimer.bat
Double-click ResetTeaTimer.bat to remove all entries set by TeaTimer. This is done so it can be re-enabled without problems after cleaning.

Get HostsXpert here:

Unzip it to a convenient place and run the program.
If you see red text (‘Make Writeable?’) then press the ‘Make Writeable?’ BUTTON.
Click ’Restore MS Hosts File’ BUTTON.
You will be asked to confirm ’Press OK to Restore Microsofts original Hosts File’. Click ’OK’ BUTTON.
Close the program.

Re-immunize SpyBot.

Reboot your computer once all Java components are removed.

New Version should show as (HijackThis log):

Post a revised HijackThis LOG and any current observations.

I ran Dr. Webb and I can't seem to remove these trojans:

I use notepad for the host file and now somehow I got these trojons or whatever they are. This probably is the reason why I can't delete and clear out the host file. Whenever I try it telling me "error can't make changes to it." Any thoughts? Thanks

Did you read and carry out all my previous instructions? Did you update your JAVA?

Try running HostsXpert in SAFE MODE to get a clean start.

* Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from HERE or HERE

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
Once the program has loaded, select "Full Scan", then click Scan.
The scan may take some time to finish, so please be patient.
When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
Make sure that everything is checked , and click Remove Selected.
When disinfection is completed , a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart(See Extra Note).
A run log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs TAB in MBAM.
Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply along with a fresh HijackThis log.

Extra Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts, click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process, if asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.

No, I didn't update Java yet. I was trying to run Dr. Webb and that didn't work. I look by google and found a web site that said, "wordemailtoolbar.dll" was safe but, Dr. Webb says different. I will let you know more tomorrow when I work on the computer. Thanks bro

Okay, here is a new hijacklog and I did update Java. My question is, do you want everything in add/remove programs that say Jave uninstalled (Java data DB 10.3.1.4, Jave TM 6 update 3, Java TM 6 update 7, Java TM SE development kit 6 update 7) I did start in safe mode and now I have a fresh host file.

'Jave TM 6 update 3' can definitely be uninstalled. 'Java TM 6 update 7' is the latest release for runtime and development kit.

Let us see/review what is loaded on your PC:

Run HijackThis and Click Open the Misc Tools section button.
Then click the Open Uninstall Manager… button.
Click the Save list… button. Save uninstall_list to your desktop.
Open the Uninstall list file and post in your next reply, please.
