Forum Temporarily Closed!!! No New Threads

Dear all,
This part of the forum has been temporarily closed until Saturday 17th October at the latest. The forum may reopen sooner.

The forum has recently been overwhelmed with requests and the rate we are resolving posts is slower than the rate of new posts we are receiving. Problems with spyware can take quite a while to resolve.

As a last resort, we have decided to temporarily close the forum in an effort to resolve all existing threads and ensure that we can carry on to serve people with an excellent level of support.

This does not affect people who have already posted and are currently receiving help. Please continue to reply to your existing posts and we will try to resolve your problem as usual

People who are already receiving support, keep to your original thread and do not post any other threads.

We are afraid that any new posts that are made requesting help will be deleted.

This message will be deleted and a new notice displayed when we have reopened the forum.

Owen, you guys are simply fantastic. You volunteer your time and far from insubstantial capabilities for our collective benefit. You are invariably curteous in your replies and manage to solve problems we neophytes would often be at a loss to even begin to tackle.

Actually, when it comes to computers, I am not a neophyte, I'm a friggin Neanderthal. Yet, you managed to explain the solution to my problems in clear, understandable language. And got them fixed!

All of us owe you an enormous debt of gratitude, and I wanted to avail myself of this opportunity to genuinely thank you and your 'associates'. I, for one, am truly grateful.

I agree with lvon98 100% Owen, the work you do here on this board is excellent to say the least. I wish I could do more to help on this board but I'm still a raw rookie at reading and interpreting HJT logs. Keep up the good work and thank you for all that you do here at the D-A-L forums.

You'll get the hang of the logs eventually. Get the basics first and start building. And thanks for that

We have a great community here, everyone including Owen who helps here deserves a lot of praise for their efforts to help others, nice work
