Hi there...
I've been experiencing connecting problems with my system lately, to the point where, this morning, I couldn't get access either to any of the sites I usually go to, my e-mails, etc. and couldn't open up either Yahoo or MSN. All I get it what I call the little spinning circle next to the pointer for about 30 seconds or so, and then the mention 'Explorer cannor show the webpage' or words to that effect. I have called my ISP, who told me the signal was fine and suggested that I delete the Temporary Internet Files, which, to my amazement, seemed to do the trick! I say to my amazement because I usually do clean-up of the system quite frequently (about once a week). Which got me to thinking that this could very well be a temporary fix, and that the problem could re-appear in a few days.
Would you be so kind as to check the HijackThis log below and tell me if there might not be something more sinister lurking and, in the affirmative, if anything could be done about it at my end (other than taking it to the technician!
). You have been a great help in the past to this still very much technologically challenged fan -- please keep that in mind in whatever instructions you might come up with
