Please help me! I can't remove Trojan.Vundo from my PC!

I did a scan but nothing was found. Anyhoo here is the log:-

1. Please download Avenger2 by Swandog46 to your Desktop.

* Right click on the Avenger.zip folder and select "Extract All..."
* Follow the prompts and extract the avenger folder to your desktop

2. Copy all the text contained in the code box below to your Clipboard by highlighting it and pressing (Ctrl+C):


Note: the above code was created specifically for this user. If you are not this user, do NOT follow these directions as they could damage the workings of your system.

3. Now, open the avenger folder and start The Avenger program by clicking on its icon.

* Right click on the window under Input script here:, and select Paste.
* You can also Paste the text copied to the clipboard into this window by pressing (Ctrl+V), or click on the third button under the menu to paste it from the clipboard.
* Click on Execute
* Answer "Yes" twice when prompted.

4. The Avenger will automatically do the following:

* It will Restart your computer. ( In cases where the code to execute contains "Drivers to Delete" or "Drivers to Disable", The Avenger will actually restart your system twice.)
* On reboot, it will briefly open a black command window on your desktop, this is normal.
* After the restart, it creates a log file that should open with the results of Avenger’s actions. This log file will be located at C:\avenger.txt
* The Avenger will also have backed up all the files, etc., that you asked it to delete, and will have zipped them and moved the zip archives to C:\avenger\backup.zip.

5. Please copy/paste the content of c:\avenger.txt into your reply along with a fresh Hijackthis log and tell me how things are doing now please.

Also the error message that appeared before keeps coming up everytime i restart/start up my PC it says "warning there is no disc in the drive" prompting me to press Cancel, OK or Retry several times...

Re-hide after we are done


Now reboot into safe mode( without networking support) by tapping your F8 key upon restart and safe mode screen appears, select safe mode and press enter.



Run hijackthis and click on "scan system only" button and put checks next to these:


O2 - BHO: (no name) - {15aebf3b-abd5-4570-bf88-4e8f30997a10} - c:\windows\system32\fdwbplx.dll


Please close ALL browser windows (including this one).

Everything closed out but hijackthis and click on "fix checked"


Still in safe mode


Navigate to these files or folders using Windows Explorer (OR Start -> Search) and delete (if present):


DELETE FILES:

c:\windows\system32\fdwbplx.dll
c:\windows\system32\mjpcdiez.dll
c:\windows\system32\qemmpqy.dll

While still in safe mode run MBAM again, reboot back to normal mode and post the log please and new hijackthis log.

Try this


Download Unlocker
Install it.
Reboot your computer.
After reboot, navigate to this file:

c:\windows\system32\mjpcdiez.dll

right-click on this file and choose "Unlocker".
A window should come up, click to highlight the file path and choose "unlock" (make sure "no action" is chosen in the program).
After you unlock it, right-click on the file and choose delete.

Do the same for these if possible:

c:\windows\system32\qemmpqy.dll
c:\WINDOWS\system32\fdwbplx.dll

Reboot and tell me how it went please and new hijackthis log.

You may have to right click the red link to tool below and select "save link as" to your desktop.



Please download the OTMoveIt by OldTimer.

• Save it to your desktop.
• Please double-click OTMoveIt.exe to run it.
• Copy the file paths below to the clipboard by highlighting ALL of them and pressing CTRL + C (or, after highlighting, right-click and choose copy):
  
  c:\windows\system32\fdwbplx.dll
  c:\windows\system32\mjpcdiez.dll
  c:\windows\system32\qemmpqy.dll
  
  
• Return to OTMoveIt, right click on the "Paste List of Files/Folders to be moved" window and choose Paste.
• Click the red Moveit! button.
• Close OTMoveIt

If a file or folder cannot be moved immediately you may be asked to reboot the machine to finish the move process. If you are asked to reboot the machine choose Yes.

The link you gave me doesn't work! It just says 404- Not found..i even tried OTMoveIt2.exe but that doesnt work either! :-(

Is there something else I could try instead?

try right clicking the link and select "save link as" to your desktop.
