Question [Inactive] ScanningProcess(s).exe Malware?

Hello DAL peoples!

In my Windows Task manager, process's tab, I have two (ScanningProcess.exe(s) sucking up about 272K (136k each) of my CPU all the time. They never go away! I have ZoneAlarm firewall+antivirus and AVG 8.5.339 and they aren't scanning so I think its malware. I will post my logs ASAP!!!

re: [Inactive] ScanningProcess(s).exe Malware?

Success,

In the advanced options of ZoneAlarm there is options for it to scan everything all the time. It was making my online gaming latency like 400, now its back to normal.

Is there any other not important or useful/Malware programs listed from my HiJackThis log?

re: [Inactive] ScanningProcess(s).exe Malware?

Are you saying, your ZA version includes AV?
If so, you have to uninstall AVG.
Running two AV programs is a very bad idea.

re: [Inactive] ScanningProcess(s).exe Malware?

I was, ZA antispy/virus is disabled now.

Trogan horsebackdoor generic 10AXEX found today by AVG resident shield. Funny, because I haven't downloaded anything since I reported the scan results and I cleaned my restore points. I have Anti malware, Anti Spyware, AVG 08 updated and they were not finding anything >.>. Unless the ZA and AVG were conflicting causing some gaps or confusion???

So, I assume, you're now running AVG AV, and ZA firewall (only), correct?
Post fresh HJT log, please.

re: [Inactive] ScanningProcess(s).exe Malware?

Correct and Will do,

Im currently running another AVG scan since I mad the changes. So far its found a crap load of tracking cookies and a System32/drivers/avo21v7.SYS (hidden driver). I've never came acroos this type of infection before. As soon as AVG is finished, I'll post a HJT log.

re: [Inactive] ScanningProcess(s).exe Malware?

HJT log looks pretty clean, but I want to make sure, you're safe...

Download, and install AVP Tool.
After installation, leave all settings as they're, and simply click on Scan button.
When scan is done, and any objects are found, click on Neutralize all button.
Next, click Reports... button, then Save to file....
Save the file to know location as report.txt.
Open report.txt in Notepad, copy all content, and post it in your next reply.

NOTE. If the file is very large, please, try to attach it.
If that doesn't work either, upload it here: Free File Hosting - File Dropper: File Host for Mp3, Videos, Music, Documents.
Post download link.

Post fresh HJT log as well.
