[Active] Somebody said they had connected to my IP
Hi, yesterday I had an invitation on msn and stupidly i added them. They sent me a msg saying that they had written their own program and could connect to other peoples IP's through it, they said they attacked random people and could not be traced as were not on their own laptop. They said they could crash my system at any time.
I am not wireless (I do not have a router) I am connected by ethernet cable directly to my modem etc. I am hopeless with computers and dont know if any of this is true! They said they could mess with my system so I told them to do it but then they backed off and nothing happened. This really scared me. Can somebody who knows a bit about computers help me. I have now deleted and blocked this person from my msn. Thanks for any help.
