Re: Adaware SE & Spybot S & D Updates
What version of Adaware do you have installed Ivon? If it's an older version you wil no longer be able to get updates. As a matter of fact there is an update for Adaware SE available again as of 10/22/04.

Re: Adaware SE & Spybot S & D Updates
Bear: I have 1.2
Should I delete and install 1.3?
Thank you.

Re: Adaware SE & Spybot S & D Updates
Yes 1.2 is no longer supported. But don't delete, uninstall from the add/remove applet in the control panel or use the uninstall that comes with Spybot S & D.
Spybot Search and Destroy 1.3

Re: Adaware SE & Spybot S & D Updates
Yes, I meant uninstall. When I did, though, I got a message that some of the elements couldn't be uninstalled and would have to be removed manually. I'm *assuming* that the remaining elements won't impact on the efficient functionning of this new version of SpyBot...?
Thanks for your help, Bear.

Re: Adaware SE & Spybot S & D Updates
Nah, they shouldn't do. That usually means you need to delete the folder in C:\Program Files. It doesn't matter though because your going to be installing a new version anyway into the same directory.
