[inactive] hello

well m back again.

this is a lappy of another friend of mine, and it had some virus issues. so he just formatted the c: drive.

but m sending u a log just in case.

moreover..this laptop hd been given for servicing a week ago and it started showing certain issues after tat.

when i press the power button while the laptop is on..it wont shut down..evn if i hold it down for 20 secs.
and while starting, it wont start up many times when i press the power button. i dont really know whats the problem but i guess its an hardware issue. probably related to some loose connection.

anyways ..here's the log:

re: [inactive] hello

HJT log looks clean.
You need to repost your issue at Windows section, but meanwhile, I'd start with uninstalling nVidia ForceWare hardware firewall, which often causes problems...

Open Notepad.
Copy, and paste text below:

Quote:
c:
cd %windir%\system32\wbem\
net stop winmgmt /y
ping -n 10 127.0.0.1
rmdir /s /q repository
rmdir /s /q Logs
mkdir Logs
net start winmgm
ping -n 10 127.0.0.1
exit
Save it as nvidia.bat

Run it, by doubleclicking on nvidia.bat

Restart computer.
