Thumbnail creation for video clips.

I have a lot of video clips in various formats and I'd like to be able to view them as thumbnails in Windows Explorer. Is there a piece of software that will do this? I'd prefer freeware, but I'll pay if I have to.

Windows XP/Vista does this for you

Open the folder, Right click on the background of the folder, select "View" > "Thumbnails"

Thanks.
This only works for filetypes that Windows Media Player can play. So .wmv and .avi show up as thumbnails, but I have clips in Quicktime, Real, and FLV too. These do not show up.

Smile Re: Thumbnail creation for video clips.

Ok. For the real player ones, if you dowload something called "Real Alternative" that allows real player files to work in media player and therfore allows thumbnails to work.

As for the quicktime, you can download "Quicktime Alternative".

For FLV use "Play FLV"

Hope they do the trick
