Adobe Premire Elements 3.0 Problem

I've just finished a project on Adobe Premire Elements 3.0. Then I had to shut down my computer. Before I did I saved my project several (5) times. But when I started my computer and went to open the file Premire opened but in the display window in the middle of the screen it only showed gray. The media wouldn't play. When I tried to do almost anything the program would lock up and crash. I worked hard on this and would hate to have to do it over again, thanks.

Cool Re: Adobe Premire Elements 3.0 Problem

When you say you tried to open the file, are you trying to open the output file or the project file?

Re: Adobe Premire Elements 3.0 Problem

Hi,
I'm not sure exactly what you mean and I have Premier Pro not Elements but grey bits usually mean that a file has been moved and you will have to relink to it.
The crashing and locking up sounds serious.
If I were you I would copy the project file to a safe place, then re-install Elements, then open the project file and relink to your clips.
HTH.
Regards.
