Domain got cancelled, want to get it back.

Hey guys.

Well you see, my problem is that I set my domain to pay automatically but the billing attempt failed. Now my domain got cancelled. I'm talking about exploratumente.com

Now if you try to access that domain it appears one of those websites that display some sort of fake/weird search engine.

I hope I can still recover my domain... Is there a way to do so?

Thanks in advance.

Edit: here's the google cache of the website the way it used to be. http://74.125.155.132/search?q=cache...ient=firefox-a

Second Edit: Just to let you know, my domain was hosted by Freewebs Domain Services. https://www.securepaynet.net/Default...bz&isc=wwbb400

Re: Domain got cancelled, want to get it back.

Hi,

That domain is owned by Portfolio Brains LLC in Los Angeles which I presume is not you?

Once domains don't get renewed they go into a holding period of about 60 days after which they are deleted and can be registered by anyone else. Some companies will actually use software to "catch" deleted domains and register them automatically which of course is very frustrating if you happen to lose your domain.

The details of that company can be found here: Exploratumente.com - Explora Tu Mente
