Question HP Error message

This is an odd one. When using either excel or word a printer error message keeps popping up constantly. All that comes up is a small box that says 'Error' HP Business Inkjet 2200/2250. Now you can keep clicking on ok and the box will disappear after about 20 clicks on the ok button. But then when you come to use any of the tools on the toolbar like changing the fonts, the fonts list freezes and hangs the whole program. Anyone any ideas? This is making life very awkward and is making work take twice as long as it should!

have you installed any new hardware/software?
are your printer drivers up to date?
what happens if you try and print in something like access or outlook express?

If it dont fit...force it. If ya cant force it...get a bigger hammer. If it breaks...it probably needed replacing anyway.

Smile Re: HP Error message

It's not been happening too long. The laptop that it happens on is attached to a network within a primary school that i work for. The teacher takes it home and this is what happens. I did a test database out of access and the same message came up. Have uninstalled the printer drivers and set it up to print to one of the networked printers. It seems to have stopped the error message coming up and within word and excel I can change the fonts etc.
Hopefully that should solve it. Thanks!!

Re: HP Error message
