HELP PLEASE!! corrupt aim.exe file

hey im having weird problems with my aim and internet, it keeps saying that there is an aim.exe corrupt file and it wont go away, i also use opera as an internet browser and it randomly started to say that it could not find the files for it and same with aol, i dont understand what has happened and am lost! the latest thing i did to my computer was update the aim and thats it, i have touched nothing else! please help me if you can it would be greatly apreciatedd!! thank you
