my Domain is unavailable. HELP!!!

Stand-alone PIII w/Win2k Pro SP4 (PC named Win2k in Workgroup): While trying to figure out a USB printer problem, I discovered that almost ALL the of the over 110 MS Hotfixes, Patches & Updates had never been successfully installed (per the KBxxxxxxInst.log files in WINNT)! I proceeded to use Add/Remove Software to remove them one by one, rebooting as required. I hoped to figure out why they never installed & then reinstall them. All was good until I uninstalled Q818043...then when I rebooted, it slowed to a crawl while "applying security policy"....& then, when I entered User & Pass...showed a box that said:"The system cannot log you on now because the domain Win2k is unavailable" Q818043 has to do with IPSec security & googling it shows that there were a lot of problems, but not like mine....& besides, the log showed that it had NOT even been installed. What can I do??? Please help!
