Re: administration password trobles

You need the operating system CD or DVD. You boot it and install.

If you want Windows it means buying some version of Windows.

You can use various types of Linux for free. Ubuntu is very popular.

Ubuntu Home Page | Ubuntu

This is an ISO file you download then burn an ISO CD in order to boot and install.

Re: administration password trobles

Can you get into the computer BIOS? If so set the CD drive to boot prior to the hard drive and boot the CD.

If you are talking about the BIOS password what is the make and model of the computer?

Re: administration password trobles

Yes.

Any Operating System CD or DVD will be a boot disk.

It will boot and offer the option to install as long as the CD drive is set to boot prior to the hard drive.

Watch the screen for the prompt: "Press Any Key to Boot CD".
