windows 2000 oops
A friend is using windows 2000(was not given discs when purchased from coworker) anyways she was told in order to use high speed internet(to be compatable)she had to "get rid" of windows 2000 and upgrade to like Windows XP-she took it as "remove" 2000.I can get the computer to come up in the safe mode-my question is can I go ahead and install a Windows XP or is there something else I will need to do before I can install it? I dont want her to spend the money on a upgrade if it wont load.Any help appreciated.Thank you sooooooooo much!!!!!!!
