Driver hunting troubles.

Im in need of some help. I need all the drivers for a PACKARD BELL PBK500/1 PATRIOT. Wierd little board on it and nice and compact. I found it while clearing out some old case boxes and cant for the life of me find any drivers for it.

Ive looked on driverguide.com and got the two lots they had on but neither works. Needless to say Packard dont support it, after all its more than 18 months old. It has a PCVet chipset on it by the look of it and yes i know its seriously old. However it is of a suitable size to host a MUD im doing from scratch.

If anyone has any ideas on locations for drivers I would be grateful.

I can't find anything on the PB site with any variant of the model number you posted. If there is a serial number or part number on a label, either please post it or try here: http://support.packardbell.com/global/

Already tried that Dan thanks for the reply though. PAckards help system including the legacy section doesnt even recognise one of their own numbers. Ive looked everywhere I can think of to no avail.

Alright, lets do it the long way then.....

To get a detailed report of all your machines (recognized) hardware;

Download, install, and run Everest Home Edition on this machine. (Clean FreeWare) Once it's finished loading and running, click on the Report Wizard in the Menu Bar. Save all hardware related pages (the default) to a TEXT file. (It will save it to C:\Program Files\Lavalys\EVEREST Home Edition\Reports by default, unless you redirect it.)

Compress (zip) the Everest Report text file and attach that zipped text document to your next posting. (When posting, click on Advanced, and just below the posting box you'll see "Additional Options", and within that, "Attach Files". Click on "Manage Attachments" and follow the prompts. Browse to the file and choose UPLOAD.)
