Exclamation Windows 7 and error message651
Hi gang, I am having a problem getting on line with my new PC using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. I am getting error message 651 but when I try to reset connection the PC tells me that I am already connected. I have done a reinstall of Windows 7 and after about an hour the same message comes up and lose conectivity to the internet and emails. Any idea's.

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 2.33GHz 1333FSB (Retail 775
RAM: GeIL Black Dragon 8GB (4x2GB) DDR2 PC2-8500C5 1066MHz Dual Channel Kit
O S:Microsoft 7 Ultimate 64 bit
Speakers: Logitech Z 5500
Sound Card: Auzen X-Meridian (Dam good it is to worth every penny)
Video Card: Saphire HD4870 Toxic 1GB
Hard Discs:
C: SAMSUNG: HD103UJ [Hard drive] (1000.20 GB)
D: SAMSUNG: HD103UJ [Hard drive] (1000.20 GB C drive raid
G: SAMSUNG: HD103UJ [Hard drive] (1000.20 GB

Problem solved, incerted the installation disc went for repair then System restore, restored to installation date. Rebooted removed System Machanic 9. Seems that on its registry fix it removes part of the registry which affects email and internet. DO NOT USE REGISTRY MECHANIC on Windows 7 until it has been fixed. I have reported problem to Iolo.

Just to let you all System Mechanic 9 has been updated and now works with both 64 and 86 editions of Windows 7 and works fine
