Re: Win 98 Rundll32.exe.........
In order to replace the Rundll32.exe file, try the following:
Click the Start Menu
Click 'Run'
Type sfc and click 'OK'
When the System File Checker (SFC) opens, choose the option to extract a file. Specify the Rundll32.exe file. You will need to have access to the Windows 98 CD or the installation files copied onto your hard disk if you've put them there.
Even if that does seem to fix it, I would agree with D-A-L: I think I've heard of this file being messed about with by viruses / spyware and it would be a good idea to post a HiJack This log in the Security section of the forum so that someone can check it over for you (please advise them what they're looking for though as asking 'does this look OK' is a bit like saying 'does my bum look big in this' - it's hard to know what the right answer should be!)
