Re: Control Panel won't open

The only Cpl file I found was under the System folder and not the System 32 folder. The file in the System folder is called the Cpl 98. Should I use the WIn98 CD and put all the Cpl files in the System 32 folder? I need help with opening the Control Panel ASAP!!!

Re: Control Panel won't open

All the "normal" *.cpl files should be under c:\windows\system. These can be found on the 98FE CD;

\win98\WIN98_28.CAB
\win98\WIN98_29.CAB
\win98\WIN98_51.CAB (Themes.cpl)
\win98\NET7.CAB (infrared.cpl)
