Angry Rundll32 Problem

~I use win 98
~After I start up win 98 I get an error message that says rundll32 is not responding and needs to bo closed as well as not being able to do much due to the slowness of my PC the little red light and the "thinking" noise that goes along with it are activating at a one seccond intervals.
~even before I connect to the internet or open any programs that involve the web I get the notice that tells me I am noy connected and whether or not to connect or work online.

any help would be much appreciated

Re: Rundll32 Problem

Is this a new problem? Were things working OK previously? Any new hardware and or software?

As to rundll32 what is the associated program?

Is the connecting problem new? Is your e-mail client set to auto connect? Any messenger programs that auto start?

Have you run virus scans? You might want to post a HijackThis log for review by our Pros in that section:

Please follow the instructions HERE & then post your log in a new thread in the Spyware, Adware, Viruses and HijackThis Logs section.
(Not in this section please).

Please specify what issues you appear to be experiencing along with your log.
