Register a dll?
RE WMF How t register shimgvw.dll. Regsvr32 ... show error. Iwas missing this file an downloaded it to Windows\System folder.
Also could nto register Shell32.dll (REF MS kb281679). Said to run PView. Waht is that?

Click Start, and then click Run.
Type;
regsvr32 shimgvw.dll
and then click OK.
When you receive the "DllRegisterServer in shimgvw.dll succeeded" message, click OK.
Click Start, and then click Run.
Type;
regsvr32 shell32.dll
and then click OK.
When you receive the "DllRegisterServer in shell32.dll succeeded" message, click OK.

Neither file wodl register. I have been sucessful with other files, though.

I would download a fresh copy of IE6, SP1 from Microsoft and reinstall it.
