Winzip

This is on behalf of my son in law who can't get internet access.
His PC is full of folders named"winzip".He has used winzip once but now
finds winzip folders everywhere.The list of programs is full of these as are "my documents" and "my folders".He has tried deleting them but they return.
He runs zonealarm.The position now is that his hard drive is full of these "winzips" and he only has 300 KBs left.
Please help,is this a virus,bug or what?

Thanks for your reply.
I ran "stinger" on my PC and found 4014 infected files,all now cured.
Hopefully it will also fix my son on laws,I've had to copy on to a cd as he can't even get an internet connection at present.
