Question Start Up Problem

When my p/c starts i have started to get following message:-

Problem with shortcut

The shortcut"Watch.ink" refers to a location that is unavailable. The location could be on a hard drive on this computer, on a network, or on a different computer on your home network. Check to make sure the disk is properly inserted, or that you are connected to the internet or home network, and then try again.

OK

Can you please explain what this means, and how do i stop it. I am a complete novice as far as computers go.

Re: Start Up Problem

It sounds like you have removed a program that had a shortcut in your startup folder. Go to the start button/programs and find the startup folder. See if there is anything in there referring to watch? If there is, right click and select properties/find target. This will take you to where the program is or if its deleted it will come up with the searchlight trying to find it.
Usually anything in the startup folder is only a shortcut so you can safely right click and choose delete. Leave it in your recycle bin for a few days if you're worried, just to make sure everything is working fine.
