rundll32.exe

Whenever I try to access anything in Control panel settings or right click on my Computer icon, or tey to open certain programmes, my pc tells me it can't find rundll32.exe.
Have looked at other threads that suggest how I can reinstall from ME disc, however I do not have disc as it did not come with PC...also do not know if this is connected biut PCalso shuts down with no warning and I get a blue screen withan error mesage that finishes with File name VMM(01):0000C7E9:OD:C00007E9.

Have searched for rundll32 file and it finds it in C:\Windows\Options CAB, and C\:Windows\System and C:\Windows\system\32 but it is only 5KB


Am using Windows ME and IE 6

Any advice would be appreciated thanks a lot

I have run spybot and have fixed errors but problem still persists and I have blueyonders pc guard running as firewall etc
