Angry Help! win 98 prop full is puter going to go

My wife did a back-up and for some reason all of drive c space is almost full 87.1mb free of 5.58gb total. Anyway to reverse damge or is this not a big deal? I tryed disk clean-up and scan drive but didnt seam to make a difference. My tech is very limited and I have learned from reading here not to mess with it!
