"It wont open for me when I click the button."
Do you mean the actual tray won't open?
Or, do you mean a file listing won't open in either My Computer or Windows Explorer?
If it's the tray, use a paperclip which has been bent straight (or a safety pin) and push it into the very tiny hole on the front of the drive. (It's usually just below the tray.) Use a firm push as you're manually releasing a mechanism inside.
This will manually open the tray. Sometimes they get stuck in the closed position and doing this once will usually free it.
Once it's open, use the button to close the tray. If it closes on it's own, try the button again to open it.
