please help i have been quite dumb

After the kids had finished downloading more trash on to my pc at home i went on a cleaning spree and have accidentally removed the driver for my audio device. it was a realtek AC' 97 audiofor via (R) audio controller version 5.10.0.5620. I tried on google to find a driver to download but really struggling. I have 3 teenage girls now goings nuts. I am very unpopular. Can anybody please help......

Does it have to be a very special version of that drive? I did not have any problem finding: http://www.download.com/Realtek-AC-9...29833.html?v=1
you may want to try this. If it does not work, you can always remove it.

If the above does not work the computer manufacturer's web site is the best source of your drivers.

If custom built then the motherboard manufacturer's site is the place to go.

Couldnt you try to do a system restore to get it back??
