I try to install yahoo messenger and after about 3% it stop responding i used windows vista home premium 32x is there any solution on how to install it on HP Pavilion dv9500?

yup it is the first time and i try for 4 time and yet there is no other option to install, and when it is done for installing there is no icon for the said program...

So, it's actually installed, but the shortcut doesn't show up, right?
If do, navigate to C:\Program Files\Yahoo Messenger, and create a shortcut by yourself.

well there are no YM from the PROGRAM FILES then i download again and still the same,and then suddenly it pop up and said unsucessful downloading program is it the VISTA making trouble for.....

broni it seem they blocked the YM coz when i download MSN messenger there is no problem but why when adding YM creates problem installing the program,,,it means that first you have to install microsoft product messenger then the third party? when i install again YM it works....or is it the security feature from the vista blockin on it....
