Look for the startup entry:
Compaq Connections
Uncheck it and it should stop appearing.
But also note the possibility of an infection:

The file is not a Windows system file. The application starts upon Windows startup (see Registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders, HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders). The program has no visible window. The application listens for or sends data on open ports to LAN or Internet. There is no description of the program. Therefore the technical security rating is 69% dangerous, however also read the users reviews.
Important: Some malware camouflage themselves as Compaq Connections.exe, particularly if they are located in c:\windows or c:\windows\system32 folder.
