VISTA Driving me CRAZY!!!

So. I upgraded to the 32bit Vista and now my computer is very slow. I have 4G of RAM and apparantly this version can only see 2.62G. At first the computer ran like lightning and now it has almost stopped?!?! Is it my vista? Should I just go back to XP or what? Included is a Hijack this log. I have run cCleaner and Spybot as is usually reccomended.

32 bit versions of vista/xp can't recognize 4 gb of ram but it should be able to recognize about 3.5. I don't know exactly how much is the max but I know that it's about that (vista/xp 64 bit can recognize 4 gb). Are you sure that your computer has the capacity for 4 gb? Does all of it show up in the BIOS or during boot up?

As for speed, what processor do you have and what is it's speed? What graphics card do you have? Vista requires a significantly more powerful computer than does xp and it is very resource intensive.

Now did you do a fresh install of Vista or did you "upgrade" xp? Has you computer always been slow with Vista?

Well, It was an upgrade to XP which is part of the problem, The BIOS sees 4GB, but in the end I solved it anyway. I just deleted it all and went back to XP.
