PA3 Printer & Acad 2008 problem

Hi all,
Can anyone suggest why I cannot get my HP 1280 A3 format printer to interface with Autocad 2008
I had no issues with AC 2004 using the same printer.Failing that , has anyone used a
Brother MFC-5890CN to print from Autocad 2008
