How to Get Max Performance
It is not that I am having experience with performance, but I have tweak Vista alot, and I just want to know how I can even tweak it more.
If you can DO NOT say:
Defrag, clean, check for errors, readyboost, or any of those related things that I have already done. Thank you.

Processor: 3.4
Memory: 4.8
Graphic: 4.9
Gaming graphics: 3.0
Primary hard disk: 5.2
This laptop was bought for around $350.

2 GB RAM
32-bit
160GB Hard Drive

Turn off aero. Is it a bit slow for you? As far as I know the only way that you'll get better numbers is by hardware upgrades. The way I see it is that it isn't about the numbers but is it good enough for your everyday tasks. Oh, do you turn off unnecessary crap?

I don't have Aero since it is Basic and I have already turn off unneccesary resources/services/programs.
How would you recommend upgrade the hardware?

There is only so much you can do with a lap top & I wouldn't do anything if it is still under warranty. System Specs. If you can find the correct processor, a processor upgrade might help especially if you upgrade to a dual core. However I'm not seeing what socket that the cpu is. Doing so might decrease your battery life. I found a thread on someone who did that. If you don't have enough ram you can upgrade to 4 gb but you have to get the specified type. I might be wrong but I don't think that you can upgrade the graphics since it is built into the board.

It looks my graphics are bad...I might upgrade to 4gb after the warranty, but I experience with my desktop computer with XP that making more RAM is not fast since the CPU also need to be fast. Is it the same for the laptop? I'm not good with laptops (I only handle desktops)

I'm not a laptop expert either so I don't know what to tell you. I do know that in any system if you don't have enough memory your computer will seem slow because some processes will be running off of the hard drive. 2 gb is usually more than adequate for xp but i thought I'd suggest it anyway. I don't think your graphics are bad, just not really good but thats a laptop for you.

I think of upgrading the cpu, but laptop are so tight(almost everything is closely pack together) so I thought maybe you could send a helping hand?
