Help me please with my pc problem!

I have a problem with my pc
its hard to explain but ill try.
following happens:

Whn I right click on the Desktop than click personalize, the screen appears just for 1 milisecond and goes away,so i tried this a lot of times and it kept on doing the same thing, this also happens to alot of other folders, for ex. It happans at my windows anytime upgrade, at windows update (automatic, or manual update it wont work) and some other important folderswhy?? and how to get rid of it??

I than opend CMD as an administrator typed in sfc /scannow, so i scanned it.
than it said:
Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.
Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log
however than I tried to open that CBS.log but ehen i opened it and it sais acces denied.
I have a Norton 360 version3.0 antivirus. and it cant find any viruses. Can you help me!! thanks
So I need help how to get rid of that problem I mentioned!

Copy the log to some other location and you'll be able to open it.
When you open it delete all lines from before you ran sfc and attach it to your next reply.

Since it doesn't look like an infection, I'm moving it to Vista section.

here it is I attached it as a microsoft office word (2 parts because its was too large).... and please halp me with the problem i mentioned!!!

Ok according to this we need to narrow down the content of the log file. Browse to command prompt (start menu>all programs>accessories). Right click and select run as administrator giving it permission if prompted. Copy/paste the following line in the box and hit enter [right click on the window and select paste to paste].

findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log >sfcdetails.txt

Post back the newly created sfcdetails.ext file. For me it put the file in the folder listed in the commend prompt. You might want to change that to a better location. I would type in cd c:/ to put it in the root of your c drive.

Most of the errors had to do with windows sidebar. Do you use this? If so I would turn it off. I would do so in safe mode using msconfig. There is also premove.exe & lpremove.exe. The first seems to have to do with task scheduler removing language packs and the second I could find any thing about. I don't know what to tell you about either. Maybe someone else will.

Could you please explain this in a simpler language, because i dont understand what to do with thing you mentioned !!

anyway foget what i just wrote, because i found what my problem was.
So, i have an Italian PC ( so it has the italian language on it), and i dont understand nothing.
so i went to a web to install language packs, so it said you need to install "Vistalizator" than i did, after i installed the langugae pack for my pc.
so after this the problem occured, the problem i mentioned, so i right click on the Desktop than click personalize, the screen appears just for 1 milisecond and goes away,so i tried this a lot of times and it kept on doing the same thing, this also happens to alot of other folders and applications, for ex. It happans at my windows anytime upgrade, at windows update (automatic, or manual update it wont work) and some other important folders and applications. And inorder to get rid of this problem i had to return again to the italian language.

SO WHERE AND HOW CAN I INSTALL A PROPER, GOOD, PERFECTLY WORKING ENGLISH LANGUGE PACK FOR WINDOWS VISTA SERVICE PACK 2. AND HOW??!!
THIS IS MY LAST PROBLEM NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

What I mean is that most of the errors pertain to the widows sidebar and my instructions where on how to disable it. There where also 2 programs mentioned that I don't really know what they are or how to fix them. One pertained to language packs and the other I couldn't find any info at all on.

As for the language pack, it looks to me like you tried to install some 3rd party language pack which might be the cause of your problems. Try the official language pack from MS.

sorry, but this is not a language pack but its a service pack, and plus its service pack 1 i have already downloaded serviece pack2 from this site( it was with all languages), but its still on italian!!
