pcal Is a beginner here at D-A-L
Partition in XP

Hi folks

a go install my xp pro sp2 in a new 160 gb hd and i have a question.

I need to create 7 partition . What is best way

-Create all in windows xp install ?
OR
-Just create c: in all disk, install xp and then create the others whith Partition Magic ?

Please give-me opinions

mmm - 7 partitions on 160GB disk seems a bit over the top. But I guess you have your reasons. If Windows already installed, use PM to create the other partitions. You can tell PM what you want from within Windows (guess you already know that), and it's never screwed Windows up when I've used it to partition the C drive.
