The RED X - Images

Anyone have any idea why certain images come up as the RED X? I've never had this problem before. This is a fresh install of Windows XP Pro with SP2.

My main issue is that my new web site's buttons won't show up. I'm not the designer but everyone else that goes to check it out can see the buttons but I can't! Aggravating to say the least!

Clear the IE cache. I.E./Tools/Options/General/Delete files (and delete
offline content.)
