can anybody help me with noton 2004 i am having alot of program control windows coming up waiting for an answer i have looked in the manual but thats not a lot of help i use to have norton 2002 and had no problems

when you say Norton 2004, do you mean the anti-virus? the fire-wall?

what questions is it asking?

both antiviris and firewall my computer just keep asking me wether i want to block or allow connections i know this is what it is meant to do but i am sure i have got something set up wrong , when i had 2002 i never had this problem

i use a different firewall but they are all fairly similar in that they ask permissions.

you sort of set them up as you go. i have the option to allow an app once or always or never. if i choose always or never then i will not be notified again for that app.

also in my settings i can turn off the prompting, assuming i want to set all apps manually.

check your options, settings, properties, rules, etc.
